Dentler Java wood comes from the natural recovery and pruning of coffee trees. The coffee tree—or coffee plant—grows in tropical mountainous areas. Its wood is very hard and durable. Maintaining plantations and renewing unproductive coffee trees allows for the eco-responsible harvesting of its wood, which is called Java wood. The annual harvest of Java wood is carried out with the utmost respect for the environment. No tree is cut or uprooted for the sole purpose of transforming it into a commercial product.
